Slatwall is in use across many different industries including consumer product, manufacturing, publishing, education, and more. The one thing they all have in common is a unique business model that provides them with a distinct competitive advantage, and the inability of other commerce platforms to fit within that model.

Slatwall allows you to manage and sell merchandise products like most eCommerce platforms, but that is only one of five product types. You can also sell subscriptions or memberships that have terms and benefits. The Content Access product type provides a paywall to files in your CMS so you can sell pages, PDF's, video files, etc. Event products allow you to sell tickets or seats to events, manage inventory, waitlists, reminders, and take attendance. Slatwall also allows you to create product bundles (creating new products from groups of individual products).

We don't offer a self-running demo because it really wouldn't be helpful in evaluating if Slatwall is the right fit for your business. The flexibility inherent in the platform means that the right set-up for one business would be completely wrong for another. This is why the time spent understanding your specific requirements is so important to the process.

Yes, we offer a fully supported and managed cloud server offering for Slatwall which you can learn more about on our Pricing page.

Slatwall does include some basic bootstrap templates, however, this is not the platform for you if you're looking for thousands of pre-canned designs. The Slatwall philosophy is that your front-end should look and behave exactly the way you want it to, and not be dictated by the commerce engine.

Yes! Slatwall is CMS agnostic; it does not care how you manage your content. You can use Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, a home-grown system, or whatever works for your business.
