Slatwall Commerce 6.0 New Subscription Features: Scheduled Orders & Recurring Deliveries

We’re pretty excited to announce that we’ve extended the capabilities of Slatwall's already wide-ranging set of subscription commerce features with the addition of scheduled orders as well as the ability to set up recurring deliveries with ease. 

It’s a popular product type that everyone wants but has typically been a challenge to implement...until now. You can now create and sell scheduled order products directly from your storefront or give customers the option to subscribe to any product on your site for ongoing delivery. Every subscription delivery is connected to a customer account and will utilize their address book and saved billing profile information creating a seamless experience. You can also automatically apply discounts and promotions, including gifts with purchase and coupon codes.  

Want the two best reasons to utilize subscription deliveries within Slatwall? Firstly, any product in your storefront can be purchased as part of a recurring delivery on its own or part of a subscription package. Secondly, all aspects of the subscription management system are included as part of the Slatwall Commerce core - selling, management, and recurring billing. It’s all there. Your customers aren’t forwarded off to another service provider to manage their credit card profile, change delivery dates or times,  or any other aspect of their active subscriptions. 

Not only can your customers manage their own subscriptions within the “My Account” area of your website, but they can choose to opt in to multiple active subscriptions at the same time. Each subscription is managed on its own, containing unique business rules and properties. Subscriptions can be canceled, “pushed” or updated at any time by the customer service team through the administration area or by the customer. 

For the warehouse and fulfillment teams, subscription delivery orders are treated just like any other order. Each subscription delivery has a unique order number, tracking information, and syncs against the inventory system for easy management. With Slatwall Commerce, businesses can start selling via subscription fulfillment and not have to change or modify their business processes. 

These new features enhance the all-in-one subscription commerce feature set, including subscription product, billing, account, and customer service management tools, already available as part of Slatwall’s core.
