Different organizations use promotion codes in different ways. In some situations it makes sense to have a single promotion code for everyone, and in other cases you might want to distribute unique promotion codes. With Slatwall we have separated promotion codes from the underlying promotion so that they can have their own usage requirements and expiration dates.
Slatwall simplifies the setup of Promotions by breaking them down into two simple categories; Qualifiers & Rewards. Qualifiers are the conditions that need to be met in order to receive a given promotion. This could be that a certain order total is met, or that the order contains a specified quantity of a specific item. Rewards define the discount that the user will receive, either as a percentage off, dollar off, or a fixed amount, and can be applied to an item, shipping or the entire order total.
With a flexible reporting framework you can set up company wide reports that run regularly and give key stakeholders the exact data they need to make educated decisions. Reports can be saved, and exported to formats like Excel. Slatwall provides the framework to build custom reports of any data, including data that lives outside of the Slatwall database.
